Food is well cooked and designed. This is a fine dining place so I don’t recommended for tourists. It’s more like for business people. This is ART, not food (this is a compliment Portion is small which is normal for fine dining. EXCELLENT service, must mentioned this

An amazing and inspired menu, pricey, but worth treating yourself. What a great position. As good as it gets in Hobart on a sunny winters day. Nice people, great range of drinks some excellent cocktails, and great whiskies representing value for money - and a great experience rounded it out. New chef's menu is great. have always been a fan of Callington Mill and its great restaurant up in Oatlands, and the new offering in Hobart has probably got one of the best positions on the waterfront in Hobart. Highly recommended for a whisky, a cocktail, and a special treat for a sensational menu.

Raj and his team are amazing. The service was flawless, recommendations spot on, and the size of the meals were a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back for more food, and to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. We came back a second time, Raj and his team once again have provided service above and beyond.

We had an amazing cocktail experience here! Tried the Negroni, Manhattan, and Dry Martini, all perfectly balanced, clean, and elegant with a luxurious touch. The bar offers an impressive selection of Whiskeys and Gins, with options to customize to your taste. The staff were friendly and the service was superb. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!

Located at the dock on Hunter St. I stopped in here after dinner at a nearby restaurant. Wanted to try some Tasmanian whiskey, so i came across the Callington Mill. This is considered a fine dinning establishment, so I also tried the appetizer sampler. Food, service, whisky all hit the mark. A bit quiet for a Saturday night, but made it a very relaxing atmosphere. Will certainly return again.

Stumbled upon this great restaurant whilst staying at the Macq 01. The food, the venue and whiskey tasting experience were all exceptional. The staff were attentive and helpful. We had a great conversation with the Manager who shared some tips on the choice of whiskey for tastings.

This restaurant is a delight! Every dish bursts with rich, vibrant flavors and is presented like art. The meat is perfectly tender, melting in your mouth. Portions are smaller than typical, but the quality justifies the price. The whiskey selection is extraordinarily good, a true highlight for enthusiasts. Cocktails are well-crafted and delightful. The service is exceptional—attentive and warm. When an order went missing, the staff (Mihino, perhaps?) swiftly resolved it with professionalism and offered a generous resolution, ensuring we left delighted. Highly recommend for a memorable dining adventure!
